Find My Bus started at seventeen, after a bus never showed up and I wanted to know where it actually was. It grew from a single route into a suite of real-time transport tracking apps and websites serving major operators across the UK and Ireland — including the DVLA — and attracted investment from the transport group Transdev.
Running alongside it was VAMOOZ, an award-winning crowdfunding travel app on the same transport network that let groups pool demand for trips and school passes. As the business matured it was rebranded as RYGO, which carried the same network through to acquisition.
