VAMOOZ was an award-winning crowdfunded travel app: instead of booking a fixed departure, groups pooled their demand for a coach trip or a school pass, and the journey only ran once enough people had committed. It turned "I wish there was a bus to X" into a trip that funded itself — the power of the crowd applied to travel.
It was built alongside Find My Bus, sharing the same transport network and team without being the same product. VAMOOZ processed over £1M in trip and school-pass transactions before being acquired, along with the wider business, by uTrack in 2020.
