EaseUp joins the Google Cloud for Startups programme
A simple question — why is there no app to help people build real-world confidence? — just took a real step forward. What being accepted means as we head towards launch.
EaseUp started with a simple question: why is there no app to help people build real-world confidence? Not confidence in theory — the kind you only get from doing small, real things, repeatedly, until they stop feeling impossible. I couldn’t find an app for that, so I set out to build one.
Today that question took a real step forward. EaseUp is now officially part of the Google Cloud for Startups programme.
It’s a bigger deal than it might sound. We’re prepping for launch, and the next stretch is all about scaling the infrastructure so it holds up when more people are relying on it. Being in the programme gives us the room to do that properly rather than stitching it together as we go.
I keep coming back to what EaseUp actually is, underneath the app. It’s a step towards restoring real-world connection and confidence — the things that are quietly getting harder to come by. The technology is just how we get there.
None of this happens alone. Huge thanks to the team, to the partners who’ve backed the idea, to the investors who’ve been patient with it, and to everyone who believed in the mission before there was much to point at. The road’s only just beginning.
